Marian Tescaru, General Manager General Manager and Board Member of EFG Eurobank Securities, Mr. Tescaru graduated from the Polytechnic University Bucharest and holds an MBA degree in financial management from City University in Seattle, USA among others degrees/diplomas in marketing for financial institution, licensed valuator, fund management etc. Mr. Tescaru has an extensive experience in brokerage and corporate finance being involved in the first Romanian IPO, first private equity transaction and first leverage buy-out. He attend an internship on trading and research in Nomura International, a top investment bank in London and was granted a scholarship from the World Bank in connection with an intensive training in Czech Republic on macroeconomics. Mr. Tescaru was involved in more than 50 transactions among other being advising Advent International on the acquisition of Terapia and Dufa, a group of investors on the acquisition of Hilton Hotel. He also performed M&A activities for top tier clients listed on NYSE or EURONEX and sits on the Board of Directors of various companies.
