Eurobank EFG Group is a European banking organization with total assets of € 81.9bn (1H11), offering universal banking across Southeastern Europe. Greece’s second largest bank, Eurobank EFG also enjoys leading positions in Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia.




Eurobank EFG Group has an established presence in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, and Cyprus. It is a member of the EFG Group, an international banking group with presence across 40 countries. The operating holding company of EFG Group is European Financial Group EFG (Luxembourg) SA.

EFG Group is organised into two distinct and separate subgroups, each having its own board of directors, management, business and geographical scope, and sub-consolidated regulatory supervision:

  • EFG International, which is a global private banking and asset management group headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and listed on the SIX Swiss exchange (EFGN), and its direct parent company, EFG Bank European Financial Group SA, a bank based in Geneva, supervised on a consolidated basis by the Swiss FINMA;
  • Eurobank EFG, which is one of the largest banking groups in Greece, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange (EUROB), offering all types of banking, asset management, insurance and other related services throughout Greece and in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, London and in Luxembourg, supervised on a consolidated basis by the Bank of Greece.

At year-end 2010, EFG Group had total consolidated shareholders’ equity of € 6.7 billion, total assets of € 104 billion and over 25,000 employees in more than 40 countries worldwide.
